The emissions that have arisen in connection with the increase in e-commerce and transport have received a lot of attention in recent times. The negative effects on the environment and climate change are not something we can turn a blind eye to. Therefore, MARE Equestrian sees it as a matter of course to take our responsibility to reduce emissions and contribute to a healthier lifestyle. Sustainability work is something that MARE Equestrian takes very seriously and something that we continuously work on.

Transport responsibility

We are at the beginning of our sustainability journey but still see our responsibility towards our climate. We are well aware that our transport is a large part of the emissions we generate as a company. Therefore, we have taken a number of measures:
Optimization of our transports : In order to avoid unnecessary transports, we require our suppliers that their transport flows must be as optimal as possible. We do this to avoid the transport of air.

Optimization of packaging : Both when we manufacture and transport our products, we demand that these are packaged to optimize the space in packaging and cardboard.

Avoid unnecessary transports : As we see it as a matter of course to avoid unnecessary transports, we have taken the measure of charging for returns. We have done this as we see an increase in shipments to consumers where goods are sent back because they are the wrong size. We have therefore invested time and care to assist our customer in choosing the right size from the start with the help of our size guide and thus avoid unnecessary transport.
